RRB Technician Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has announced the CEN No. 02/2024 notification for the recruitment of Technicians across various RRB zones in India. RRB Technician Recruitment 2024 Details:
This recruitment offers positions for Technician Grade I Signal, Technician Grade III, and Technician Grade III (Workshops and Production Units). Candidates who are interested in these posts should carefully review the eligibility criteria and follow the application process as detailed below.
Application Fee Details:
•For General Candidates, the application fee is ₹500.
•For SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities, and Economically Backward Class (EBC) candidates, the fee is reduced to ₹250.
•The payment can be made online using Internet Banking, Debit/Credit Cards, or UPI.
Important Dates to Remember:
•The Online Application process starts on October 2, 2024, at 00:01 hrs.
•The last date to submit applications is October 16, 2024, until 23:59 hrs.
•A modification window is available from October 17 to October 21, 2024, where applicants can make necessary changes to their application by paying a modification fee of ₹250 per change.
Eligibility Criteria:
1.Technician Grade III:
•Candidates must possess Matriculation/SSLC with an ITI in a relevant trade certified by NCVT/SCVT.
2.Technician Grade I Signal:
•Candidates are required to have a Diploma or Degree in Engineering or B.Sc. in Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, IT, or Instrumentation.
Candidates must carefully verify their qualifications before applying to ensure they meet the necessary requirements.
Vacancy Details:
The recruitment is aimed at filling the following positions:
•Technician Grade I Signal: 1,092 vacancies.
•Technician Grade III: 8,052 vacancies.
•Technician Grade III (Workshops & Production Units): 5,154 vacancies.
The total number of vacancies across all the above categories is 14,298.
Age Limit (as on July 1, 2024):
•For Technician Grade I Signal, the age limit is between 18 to 36 years.
•For Technician Grade III, the age limit is 18 to 33 years.
•For Technician Grade III (Workshops and Production Units), the age range is 19 to 40 years.
Candidates should ensure they fall within the specified age limits on the cutoff date, July 1, 2024, and check for any age relaxation rules as per the official notification.
